SmartDocuments app for iPhone and iPad

With the SmartDocuments app you can create documents by simply answering questions on your screen. Normally, a paper checklist is required for inspections or audits, which must be processed again at the office. This is no longer necessary due to the app. You can fill in a digital checklist and also add photos and signatures that you take with your mobile. As a result, a document is generated in Word, PDF or XML format, which can be sent via e-mail.

Jack works as an auditor for Smart Hotels. He travels to multiple hotels across Europe every week to check the quality of the 75 locations. To optimise the auditing process, Jack has received the SmartDocuments app. Jacks manager wants more standardised reports and faster updates regarding hotel performance.

Jack simply installs the app on his phone. At the office, he creates document templates to use during hotel visits.

Now its time for Jack to go to the first Smart Hotel. Upon entering room 405 he notices that there is a crack in the window. He takes a photo of it and adds it with the app, along with a short note. Finally, he places a signature to complete the checklist.

The SmartDocuments app automatically creates a Word document, which Jack briefly checks on his mobile. Everything is fine, so he sends it straight to his manager.
